Round School Buongiorno

Community Childhood Learning Place uses the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning. A strong emphasis is placed on: the positive image of the child; the child as an active participant in her education; and learning activities that enhance early childhood development for each child.

The development of motor (gross and fine) skills is an important part of the Round School daily activities. Fine motor skills are important for the life-long development of everyday skills and self-care tasks.

Fine motor skills using muscles in fingers, hands, and wrist are enhanced through paper folding, cutting, tearing, and marking…see the picture of a young lady marking with chalk. Children at CCLP are developing abilities for later academic writing skills.
